The Academic Year

In School Services

During the academic year students check-in frequently with Upward Bound core staff and in-school coordinators to ensure that they are staying on track to meet their goals. â€‹â€‹Our coordinators are full-time staff in your high school who are easily accessible for questions and support.

We have high expectations of our students, but we also offer extensive support to ensure that they can meet them.

Students who participate regularly throughout the school year are offered stipends of up to $400 dollars September-June.

Saturday Sessions

Students are invited to the VTSU campus once a month for group programming.

This is an opportunity to reconnect with students from across our 7 schools while increasing college and career readiness.
